DEOS is truly proud to announce our first-ever Game Item Design Contest!
This event is open to all students, artists, designers, game developers, professionals and new professionals. In fact, this Contest is open to everyone, globally. Global Contest Dates Released Soon
In addition to the current Open Call Contest, DEOS will also be releasing a series of local contests in major city centres in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. Each of these events will be hosted by local Universities and Colleges, yet also available digitally online.
You are welcome to participate once, or many times, as you wish. Only full (completed) submissions will be considered and evaluated by the Judges.
Our Judges
Each individual Contest will be evaluated by an impartial Judges Panel, who will provide guidance on the best submissions. Judges are chosen by DEOS in collaboration with the hosting University or College.
Local, Regional and Global Winners
The top local submissions will have the ability to proceed to a Regional Contest, the winners of which will proceed to a Global Final. The Winners of the Global Final have the chance to receive up to 10,000 USD in prizes.

Featured Artists
The Winners of Local, Regional or Global Finals will have the ability to be showcased as DEOS Featured Artists, if they so choose, and also to showcase their submissions, if they wish.

- More local events are being released in Summer 2025 and Spring 2026
- Local Contest Winners can advance to Regional Contests, who can then advance to the Global Final
- The Winners of the Global Final receive up to 10,000 USD in prizes, as well as the chance for their submitted Items to be sold in real games.
